....a child with tousled blond hair sits in the backseat of the car
with her little sister next to her. She gently dabs with a napkin at
her sisters face, cleaning away some crumbs.
The rain begins to
fall as I walk and I notice the perfect maple leaf spattered with all
the variants of yellow, gold, orange and red that autumn can muster....
....a love note describing the beauty of smiles....
Coming home to the sweet aromas of homemade pasta sauce and the welcoming patter of animal paws on my floor....
Grant's head resting on my shoulder with my arm wrapped around him as I work....
....an early morning text message from my sister....
Christine stopping by to give me a hug and to tell me she loves me....
....Karla's giggle in my ear....
The sound of rain on the roof....
A group of quirrels running towards me, and not away....
....discussing with a cashier named Sam exactly how I am doing and reflecting on his question afterwards.
