I just wanted to say that this particular week's AUTUMN verse struck me as particularly poignant. Occasionally as I read these and contemplate their deeper influence on my spiritual and intellectual practices, I find that once in a while one just stands out and this week's (week 27) does that. I apologize, once more, for the fact that I am posting for the Western Hemisphere and that many of our participants are left out; if someone wants to take that posting on, I say "go for it!"

I love working with these verses every morning before starting class at school. Here in Australia, however, we say the oposite one of course....

Also, I'd lke to note how interesting the parallell to students is when you consider the verse they have from the date of their birthday.

God-given powers of my nature
That they may soar into the cosmos,
To take wing from myself
And trustingly to seek myself
In cosmic light and cosmic warmth.
