Meet-up Resources

About Meet-ups
WeStrive works towards building a community of socially and spiritually striving individuals around the globe. One means of forming this community begins, for many, on-line. However, we can strengthen our community by making sure that, when possible, we get to actually meet one another in-person. WeStrive Meet-ups are intended to be a global conference that takes place at the same time around the world in small, localized gatherings.
Local Meet-ups share similar agendas for the day and work with similar topics and issues in small groups. Meet-up participants get to share their own, individual initiatives during a select period of time during the day’s agendas, allowing for new growth to form out of the Meet-ups and into the world.
Meet-ups are generally held in people’s homes, in community centers or schools and all people are invited to join for the day. People can register on WeStrive.org.

Host a Meet-up
The WeStrive team is there to guide you as you prepare and promote your local Meet-up. Hosting is easy—we provide all the tools and you organize the location, times and invite people!
The Tools: a host forum, a host handbook, one-on-one support, ideas on how to promote your Meet-up, the Meet-up Kit which includes the video- or podcast for the Meet-up, as well as exercises to work with.
Earn K¢!
For all of your activities, just as with anything on WeStrive.org, you will receive K¢, the network’s currency, which in time we hope you will be able use within the community network and its affiliated partners. You can also donate your K¢ to a fellow community member.
Meet-up Host Responsibilities

  1. Fill out the form below and tell us why you are interested in hosting a Meet-up.
  2. Submit a photo of you for our Meet-up hosts page! You’ll become a local contact for your area for individuals who are interested in attending the Meet-up.
  3. Communicate with us and give us feedback. Just write or call us!
  4. Be committed to the work and the play and stay engaged! The easiest part is wanting to help, the hardest is sticking it out. WeStrive only exists because of its volunteers, so find a way of being involved that keeps the network growing and moving but that makes sense for you, in your life.
