Aotearoa Summer Gathering - World & I, New Zealand

Event: 5 days of inspiring lectures & discussions, and a variety of practical workshops - bake bread with initiators of today and have coffee with change makers of tomorrow. Bring your passion into a space created by inspiration, motivation, support and community.
Who? We describe ‘Youth’ as those who are roughly in the age bracket 18-35 and are interested with questions that come from living in today’s world.
Structure:
This event will have a threefold structure, initially focusing on a personal level then, as the days progress, spiraling outward; like an unfolding koru (fern) moving from I to Community and then into the World.
We are shaping this gathering to hold times for lectures, practical and theoretical workshops, group discussions, as well as time for casual conversations over cups of coffee.
Thematic Questions:
“Myself” 
What are my needs and responsibilities? Reflecting on my past (origin and whakapapa – what is my home?), present and future, what is my potential and my task?                 
“Community”
Relating to the community around me – how can we connect, communicate, and support each other? How can we co-create harmoniously?                 
“World” 
Where is my place in this world? How can we connect and contribute to the picture beyond our horizon?  What responsibilities does Aotearoa (and other individual countries) have within this world as a whole?
